I was really pleased that they provided hypoallergenic pillows ahead of time, and the location in a residential area near the buses and a supermarket was convenient.

Terrace with city and sea views - The terrace was like a private oasis, with breathtaking views that made me feel like I was floating above the city and the sea. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the beauty of Madeira.

Our stay in Funchal was very comfortable, and the location was really close to the Marina and the supermarket. We truly enjoyed the convenience of having an iron and ironing board, tea/coffee making equipment, and a work desk. The hot tub in the shared bathroom was great. The property's walking distance to the city center was fantastic.

I had an amazing stay at a spacious house with stunning views and a central location. the rooms were large and comfortable, and everything was clean. the highlight was the huge balcony overlooking the city, perfect for relaxing. the house easily accommodated 8 guests and was within walking distance of the harbor, buses, old town, and various dining options. I had a lovely holiday at Casas Do Forte Do Pico. Cons: No downsides at all, it was a perfect stay. 👍.

The hospitality and friendliness of the hosts were mind-blowing! They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, including taking us to the supermarket to cater to special dietary considerations. The apartment itself was jaw-droppingly beautiful, spacious, and had amazing views. The location was super convenient, with easy access to public transport routes. The communication from the owner was excellent, and Monica was an absolute gem, providing us with helpful assistance throughout our stay. We would definitely book again.

I absolutely adored the charming and elegant decor of the hotel. The soft colors, comfortable furniture, and beautiful artwork created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail in the hotel's general areas, such as well-lit hallways and ramps for easy accessibility. It made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.

If there's one thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people, it would be clearer signs and directions throughout the hotel. Sometimes, it was a bit confusing to navigate the different areas, and I found myself asking the children working there for directions quite frequently.

Casas Do Forte Do Pico in Funchal provided lots of room for everyone, and the balcony was probably our favorite part. the apartment was well-furnished, full of light, and had a double height living room that was both dramatic and comfortable. the location was also great, with a relatively easy walk into the center of town and to lots of restaurants. it was a terrific apartment in a beautiful location.

I had a great stay at this beautiful luxury house in Madeira. The apartment was spacious and well-furnished, with stunning views from the large furnished patio. The location was excellent, just a 10-minute walk into town, allowing me to explore Funchal easily. The host, Bruno, was fantastic and provided excellent communication and assistance throughout. He even arranged taxis for me and welcomed me with a delicious lunch of cheese and bread. I felt well taken care of during my stay. The apartment complex also had great amenities, including an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a well-equipped gym. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Enjoyed the "luxury" house with "terrific" views and "relaxing" pools. The spa and wellness center were a nice touch. Convenient location near the airport.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of Casas Do Forte Do Pico. The combination of old and new elements created a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were spacious and easily accessible for senior people like myself. It made me feel comfortable and right at home.

If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. Sometimes, it was challenging to find someone to help with certain tasks or answer questions.
